River Birch Cabin is a newly-renovated cabin that tastefully blends country living with modern touches. Weโ€™re perfect for couples, families, or small groups of friends! Beyond the cabin itself, the Lost River area is great for so many reasons -- and the cabin is just a short drive to everything. Downtown Lost River has several cute, artisanal shops -- while the greater area has fantastic hiking trails!

- 2 bedrooms: one with a queen bed, and the other with a twin bunk โ€“ plus a pull-out couch in the living room (donโ€™t worry, itโ€™s comfortable!)
- Fully-stocked kitchen with dishwasher, stove/oven, and microwave
- Central AC and heat to keep you comfortable
- Wood-burning stove to keep you cozy in the winter
- A spacious covered front porch, perfect for relaxing on a warm day

We often take our three little kids and dog to the cabin with us, so we're very family- and dog-friendly. Unfortunately we don't allow cats (we're allergic).

Summary: We stayed at the River access cabin for 5 nights with our 2 doggies and had such a nice time. The absence of traffic noise at night time while listening to whippoor wills was glorious. We enjoyed Bob fires, hot tubbing, lazy days at the lake in the trout pond recreational area and a hike to Cranny Crow overlook in Lost River State Park. We took some adorable #almostheaven photos on the swing at the top. The cabin is well appointed with various cookware, WiFi and a smart tv which we never used. The air conditioner works well and was a blessing as we arrived for a week of over 90* days. I had hoped to get some stellar stargazing in with my new telescope but the nights were not cooperative. We couldnโ€™t bring our suv due to car trouble but we were able to access the property with my little Nissan Sentra. That said, something with more ground clearance and more horsepower would have been ideal for the steep gravel roads.
