Positive: It was a charming, well-appointed home. We loved the historical value of it, it's location, and the large living room where we could all (7 of us) sit. It's a beautiful property, as well, with patio seating and a firepit on the lawn.
Negative: 1. All beds were lumpy! No box springs, only spring mattresses, but they were not conducive to a comfortable sleep. 2. It could use some casserole dishes and maybe saucepans. Plenty of frying pans, 2-3 smaller saucepans, and a Dutch oven are there. We had to use 2 pie dishes for a breakfast casserole. 3. Keurig needs to be de-scaled; pushing even the largest serving only filled the normal-size cup halfway, tho it was better the second day. There was a percolator in the cabinet but no cord for it. 4. Lights by beds all very dim; need at least 3-way bulbs. 5. TV has such a basic package, it had no sports, movies or kids programming. Luckily, there was an old-model ROKU we found in the bar and used it with our own app accounts. But if a renter isn't savvy with ROKU, and has kids with them, they might be disappointed when the kids need a little downtime. 6. FYI: the neighbors were -apparently- target shooting (guns) most of the day on Saturday and even an hour after dark, which was disconcerting.
Summary: Overall, we had a very good experience & would consider renting again if beds were new.
