Positive: Breakfast was an important meal each day for our stay. We had up to (3) people working independently in the kitchen and there was ample space for them not to interfere with one another. Thumbs up!
Negative: Wanted to leave a few suggestions for the 5-bed, 4 bath, pool and spa luxurious farm house, where we just spent Christmas. 1. The entire house seems to lack any ADA features, such as grab bars. Our shower was a good-size step into a slippery tub. Accident waiting to happen. I've got Parkinson's, so I'm attuned to things like this. Also the stairs to the upstairs bedroom proved too narrow and too steep. We had able-bodied people who slipped on the stairs. 2. Thermostats were difficult to figure out. Should have been easy to pick heat/cool and give it a target temperature. The thermostats were much more intricate than needed, and at the end of the day, did not deliver comfort b/c we couldn't get the settings right. Felt like we were in a boiler. 3. Need a nightstand in the red bedroom. There is a nightstand to the right of the bed, but not to the left. 4. Need a bath for the upstairs bedroom. Otherwise they have to use the jack-and-jill bathroom (which means going thru someone else's bedroom to get to the bath), or go all the way to the pool room to use a bath.
Summary: This wouldn't be the place to take grandma, especially if she's a fall risk.
