Relax and enjoy the ocean from this 1200 sq. ft 3-bedroom cottage one block from the ocean. This is the beach the way it used to be just the sound of the ocean; there is no noise from any highway or traffic. One minute walk to the beach.
House has an Ocean view master bedroom with a half bath upstairs, and an ocean view main floor bedroom and full bath. Quiet back room with futon and fold out sofa in ocean view living room.

Summary: The house is set back but still has a great view, especially from the upstairs suite. And access to the beach (which goes for miles to the north end of the spit) is half a block away. Everything was clean and in good condition. It is nice to be able to prepare meals and look out the window and see the ocean waves. Our grown family: daughter, son and daughter-in-law, my husband, and myself fit nicely in this unit. The back room for our daughter was nice and cozy, although no view from there. The upstairs suite is very nice and the views are great. The downstairs bedroom was more than adequate for our son and his wife and conveniently located to the bathroom. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, utensils, dishes, spices, etc. There was a nice selection of puzzles--we chose one of the hardest, but were able to complete it. TV streaming selections were good. There were even some good DVDs there for our use. As our family grows, this place likely won't be big enough, but for this current group it was perfect. This area is far away from shopping and restaurants....about a 20 min drive into Tillamook along a winding road, but it was perfect for us. The town of Cape Meares may not have amenities, but it has some really nice people living in it. There are trails off of several several streets that lead up to the cape. This was just a peaceful place which we thoroughly enjoyed.
