LOCATION
We love Smallwood โ a peaceful and friendly lake community filled with charming log cabins dating back to the 1930s and '40s. Here you'll find a beautiful lake, a scenic waterfall, a forest reserve with hiking trails, two restaurants (one is only open seasonally), and even a post office. A leisurely walk around the lake takes about 40 minutes, offering a perfect way to soak in the natural beauty of the area.
The surrounding Catskills region is an outdoor enthusiastโs paradise, offering endless activities year-round. Enjoy swimming, hiking, canoeing, boating, tubing, rafting, fishing, cycling, and horseback riding in the warmer months, while winter brings opportunities for snow tubing, skiing, and snowboarding.
