If being outdoors is more your speed, hike around the lake (about 4 miles) watch all the wildlife outside, do a little fishing on the lake (winter/ summer) or snowmobile on miles of trails (winter, of course) and get back to the basics of life.

Summary: Extremely nice and help full. Place was nice during a extreme cold weather snap. Well stocked with dishes and pots and pans. Could have a go thru and organize drawers. They recommended federal Co-op for firewood and misc. I would NOT recommend they were plain out rude, not at all helpful. Maybe they had a bad day, but it was 2 days in row. Scandia cool little town and easy to anything. Thank you again. Would recommend this place, winter or summer.
