Positive: The location was secluded. The views were terrific. There are no trails but one can walk along the dirt road if looking for some exercise. The kitchen amenities were decent and the induction stovetop was great.

Negative: The cleaning in the bedrooms was under par. Those with allergies will have difficulty breathing and sleeping well. The carpets are musty and could use replacement. The nook behind the sofa (where there is a lamp stand) and under it were not clean. There were no garbage bags left in the box that was labeled “garbage bags”. There was no tissue box anywhere. A couple of the cooking pans were not cleaned well and had rust in it. The ad warns there’s no WiFi but it should have added that cell phone reception is non-existent as well (we would have been prepared if this had been clearly communicated). For the modern era, WiFi is a must, and the option to not use it should be left to the guest.

Summary: Average amenities but spectacular views and quiet location.
