Summary: We did this trip instead of tent camping, so it was better than that option. It was a hot weekend, and there was a small window unit a/c which had a hard time keeping up until the middle of the night. The cabin is pretty rustic. You might want to bring your own pots, pans (provided, but they aren’t in great condition), and a fan. Also, lawn chairs if you want to use the fire pit.
