Summary: Our stay was interesting. We recently had a huge rain storm, so the blue lake was more of a brown lake. It was too cold to enjoy the water. We look forward to going back in better weather. The good: The staff was incredible. Eric was a pleasure to work with. Ryan the handyman was very polite also. Eric's puppy Ranger is a cutie pie. The room was nice and clean. There were some wear issues, it is not a new facility. Overall the room and grounds were very well kept. We got a room with a spa tub, and fireplace. Our room had front and rear access. We could go to the back, with a lovely lake view just outside our door. There was a nice patio set just outside our door. The dual showerheads in the shower were very nice, my partner and I could take our showers together and had plenty of room. The spa tub, fireplace, fridge, microwave, TV and coffee pot were all in good working order. There was ample parking, I'm sure during the warmer months this place is packed full. The bad: The bed was a bit firm for our tastes. There was a strong chemical smell from cleaning products, but that went away quickly. The heater unit didn't work. (Since we had the fireplace it wasn't needed) Eric offered to exchange our room, we declined the offer, it was appreciated. The towel rack in the bathroom was loose, Ryan replaced it when we went to go run some errands. There is some road noise, it is along hwy 20. The pool was closed (winter season). We look forward to returning in the spring or summer.
