Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The room is small, but contains everything one could wish for! Impeccably clean, and with a very comfortable bed, a good hot shower and a well-organised kitchenette, it was a pleasure to stay here. The owner was welcoming, helpful and responsive, and also welcomed my dog. The house is situated just outside Saint-James in beautiful countryside. There appears to be plenty of tracks and trails to explore. However, heavy rain means that I will have to return!

Negative: Nothing, all good. The staircase might prove a challenge to the mobility-impaired or anyone with heavy baggage.

Summary: Little gem in Normandy countryside
