The home is in a well established 1970's neighborhood. We are located right across the street from a large pond. In the neighborhood we have a city part, Martin Luther King Jr. Park. In addition to the lake and the surrounding woods, this park features three large picnic shelters, two playgrounds, walking trails and a waterfront gazebo, which is one of Statesville's most popular formal photo locations. Martin Luther King Jr. Park also boasts a large open air amphitheater and twenty-four lighted,paved and fenced regulation horseshoe courts, which have been the site of two World Horseshoe Tournaments.
In this time of concern for one's health please know that we take this situation seriously. Not only do we clean and disinfect all surfaces (including door handles, furniture and cabinet knobs, light switches and plates, thermostat) and launder all linens, blankets, towels and washcloths as a part of our normal cleaning, but we all are also distancing our bookings in between guests. We do not allow same-day check-out/check-ins. We wait a minimum of 12 hours before our cleaning crew enters the house after a check-out. We are doing this for the health and safety of our cleaning crew and our guests.
