We offer a 3 bedroom duplex with garden and porch in a private home on the Mamaroneck river. It is walking distance to the train station, park, harbor, beach, library and many restaurants. The kitchen is renovated with hardwood floors and high end appliances for your convenience.
It is close to all with a beautiful landscaped garden overlooking the river. The perfect escape from the City but conveniently located. We have a friendly cat who will be there. He has it's own cat door so very low maintenance.

Summary: We were visiting family in Westchester County and needed a place close to White Plains. This home is in a lovely town with an amazing Main Street feel to it, within walking distance. There were many restaurants, a drug store, and pastry shops, nearby. The owner was quick to respond to queries. The house itself is down a very steep stairway, which was not well lit until you got to the porch when the motion sensor turned on. Fortunately, I am a Scout, and had a small flashlight, but an elderly person might have difficulty with this aspect of the home. Inside, the house was clean and spare. The table could accommodate us easily, and there was counter space for us to store our stuff. The micowave was in a closet, so we weren't sure if it was working so we did without, which was fine. The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans and utensils to use, and there was dishsoap and cleaning agents available. The bathroom was small with a shower stall. It was clean and tidy too. The bedrooms were upstairs and the master bedroom had a memory foam type mattress which was AMAZING. (My next bed will be one after this experience). My two teens each had a small bedroom to themselves and were happy as clams. There is a sweet cat named Princey who lives there and just LOVES to be petted and held. We had no problem feeding him. Everything was easily found to set out his food. Our family would gladly come back here again.
