Positive: Our friends were staying in another place nearby.

Negative: Hard to communicate with Host via email or any real method. Call his phone many times but never got an answer. We merely wanted to arrange keys for check in. NO soap in either bathroom. Only hand towels in downstairs bath. Last, I wasn't or don't remember that there would be a separate cleaning fee. I feel this is a Booking.com issue and they are definitely lacking on most fronts compared to Airbnb which I believe is the gold standard

Summary: I'll avoid using Booking.com in the future.
