Positive: It was an unexpected and wonderful 2-day stay in Normandy. The position is convenient for exploring the D-day beaches and Mont St Michel and Saint-Malo on day trips. Debbie and her husband Steve are wonderful hosts: they remodeled an old vicary house in the center of a small village and turned it into a lovely, very cozy, and welcoming home. They thought of the most minute details, adding personal touches everywhere. The rooms on the first floor are spacious and comfortable. The common room for breakfast is exquisite with decor and light. Breakfast is delicious with ample choices. The garden is well taken care of. It was a great find.
Negative: Nothing about the house; travelers should be aware of the fact that there is a single bistrot in the village with OK food. There don't seem to be many alternatives in the area. Debbie and Steve can cook evening meals on demand, but we did not try it.
