Positive: Beautiful quiet location to unwind from modern life, just wished we had more time to enjoy it. Loved the house, it was more than a home from home: beautifully furnished; clean; spacious; and with all the facilities we needed for a comfortable stay. The hosts, Dimitri and Stephanie, were warm and welcoming, and were quick to answer any questions we had during the stay. Good to chat to.
Negative: Not really a negative but more something I forgot to prepare for when being in the countryside and near a lake. Bugs are attracted to bright lights when it gets very dark so they will come flocking in if you leave the lights on and patio doors and windows open. So I say, if you don't like bugs. Keep the doors and windows shut at night when you have the lights on. The house is naturally cool and ventilated anyway, even on the hot days. If you want to enjoy the night air, sit outside on the patio at dusk as the sun sets, it is quite beautiful.
Summary: Wow at first sight, would be happy to return.
