Positive: - Modern, warm and very cosy - comfy clean beds - Beautiful & quite location - walks around the area, stunning - Close to Blackheath, Katoomba, Sydney - Generous supply of cut wood, logs for fire - Communication was prompt which helped to reduce some of the frustration, a couple of things disappointed on arrival - lovely hot shower, that said tiles a little slippery when wet
Negative: - Long hair found in second draw of freezer - On arrival day 1 the fire was full of ash and burnt out log which needed cleaning before could be used - very little kindling and no matches, lighter to light fire, owner were prompt to advise can get from local servo, back in the car I jumped after only arriving 10 mins, was little annoying and was cold and just wanted to relax and enjoy. Would have met expectations to arrive with fire stacked ready to go, nice touch - oven not working, needed re-set, owner prompt to reply, emailed instructions, took few attempts to get sorted, buttons need pressed in very, very hard, hold to reset over. This was also first night and just wanted to eat, not work out how to get an oven working
Summary: Overall we had a really lovely stay- thank you. Could have been absolutely perfect with some small attention to detail.
