Summary: We stayed here because of the price for a family of 4, and because it was so close to the village (which is not worth it). The room is a good size, but everything is very old, poorly maintained, and run down. It must have been nice decades ago, but apparently the owner didn't want to invest in the place anymore and it was abandoned many years ago. Everything needs to be renovated - simply everything. There is no breakfast, but there is a very large diner next door with good food. Walking distance to the old village (which we didn't like) and the Aquarium (excellent). However, you will need a car to go to Mystic downtown if you want to go sightseeing and eat at the best restaurants. Be careful, you can hear people talking in the next room, and you will be able to tell what they are watching on the TV next door.
