Summary: Very neat, historic hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was fair sized and immaculate. The bathroom was comically small but this is a nearly 100 year old hotel. My friend had a "bigger" bathroom in his room so if it a huge issue for you, ask at the desk. According to the staff, Denny's up and left with 6 days notice. The hotel is working to have their own coffee shop open by the end of May There is major road construction in front of the hotel but this is scheduled to be completed by the end of June 26. Super pet friendly with several parks and green spaces nearby to walk your pooch. I will stay here again when returning to Ely
