Looking for a dreamy getaway? Grace Cabin is a charming, cozy property perfect for families or couples wanting a romantic vacation spot. Located in Blanco, this property offers fantastic views from both its covered front deck and firepit area, containing a grill, hammock, and a plush outdoor dining set to enjoy the hill country landscape. This delightful home comprises two sleeping areas, one bath, and is capable of sleeping five. Guests will find this adorable cabin has everything they need for a quiet, worry-free getaway while enjoying the beautiful hills of Texas.
Upon arrival, you'll notice two houses on site. On the left, the colorful Grace Cabin sits to the rear of Grace House, the main residence located to the right (note there are also a few manufactured homes nearby as well). The driveway contains ample space for parking along with a decorative, rocky walkway leading up and around both sides of the adorable property. From there, guests will instantly be greeted to the vast acres of this picturesque estate consisting of a volleyball net in front of the home for outdoor fun.
Walking around to the back patio, revel in the outdoor space containing beautiful wood seating, along with a firepit; great for roasting marshmallows while telling stories. Adjacent to the firepit, unwind in the hammock, relishing in the shaded area lush with trees for a day of peaceful relaxation. Nearby sits the charcoal grill great for grilling barbecued favorites.
Inside offers a beautifully decorated open floor plan consisting of cute rustic décor. With its triangular wood-paneled ceiling, cedar accents, and decorative rug atop the dark-colored wood floors, guests are offered just enough of western, cozy charm designed with privacy and comfort in mind. Sitting in the center of the room, lies a king-sized bed with soft linens. Nearby, two large, plush recliner chairs are visible next to a spacious storage closet for guest belongings. A wall-mounted flatscreen TV can be found placed in the center of the room, allowing visitors relaxation on the bed for cozy movie nights.
The adorable kitchenette provides a minifridge, microwave, toaster, and just enough kitchenware to prepare simple meals. On the welcoming front deck consisting of a dining room set, feast al fresco under the stars or, using the coffee maker, delight in a savory caffeine boost while enjoying your morning coffee basking in the hill county landscapes.
A ladder ascends to the top of the loft in which, on the right, you'll find a twin-sized bed and, on the left, a full-sized bed. This area remains perfect for kids to sleep soundly while savoring in the lively country accents of the foreground below the loft.
Looking for an outing for the day? Blanco has several fun attractions for those wanting to explore the local area. The area is rich in history and has plenty to offer guests. Visit Blanco State Park and enjoy a day of fishing, swimming or hiking. Interested in the Old West, The Buggy Barn has over 140 covered wagons. Real Ale offers guided tours and a taproom tasting experience. Within 30 minutes, enjoy the day exploring Fredericksburg, travel to Wine Road 290 which offers 19 wineries within a few miles of each other. Visit one of Fredericksburg's two amazing museums: the National Museum of the Pacific War and the Pioneer Museum. During the summer, make sure to stop by a fruit stand and grab some famous Fredericksburg peaches. Spend the day in Kerrville at the Schreiner Park located on 517 acres on the Guadalupe River, where you can swim, rent boats or enjoy hiking trails.
The Museum of Western Art and the Pollinator Museum are fun and interesting for all ages. Indulge in one of the fabulous restaurants while listening to local artists' music. With Wimberley only 30 minutes away, enjoy the delicious restaurants as well as the charming shops at Wimberley Square. Blue Hole Regional Park is also located very close as well as many wineries. If you enjoy hiking, there are many trails in the area as well. Visitors will not be disappointed, as there is plenty to see and do in the Hill Country.
