Positive: All access points are pin pad coded so everything was super easy! My wife and I loved the "old vibes" feel to the room. The place was quiet and very comfortable and had everything that we needed to have an enjoyable stay. If i could be picky, i'd ask for a larger television. Place had plenty of firewood to cook up a fire. We were so happy with the place and it's close proximity to everything. I was in town, and on the gondola heading to Canyon lodge in a matter of a few steps. Definitely going to be our first pick for future travels back to Mammoth.
Negative: I've read some of the reviews of some of the people not liking the "old vibes" of the place but that honestly is what my wife and I enjoyed the most. It is at the corner of the building and right where the entrance into the building is so i can see how on specific days like weekends, it may get a tad bit noisy, but we didn't experience that, and frankly thats the fault of the other patrons and their lack of respect for others quiet time. The refrigerator did have a slight buzzing sound. That may be a turnoff for some but that noise happen to put me right to bed!
