Summary: The room wasn’t cleaned properly. We picked up lashes from the floor from previous guests. Location was perfect. Very quiet during the weeknights, weekends were reasonably noisy. We had 4 people on our reservation but had to request towels for 1-2 people everyday because housekeeping never left enough and we were not sharing towels, because who does that. Breakfast was below average compared to other Embassy hotels we stayed at for work, leisure, and family travel. At checkout, which was 5am, for us to catch our flight, we were told the system was down and the guy would check us out as soon as it was back up. He said we’d get a receipt shortly after. After arriving at our home airport at 10:20am, I received a notification that checkout was at 11am and I still had not checked out. So he was going to charge m for late checkout from the $400 deposit for incidentals instead of making sure he did what he said he would do. Thankfully I was able to get into the app and check myself out, as the app wasn’t working properly my entire trip while in Chicago.
