We love living in this village with local pub, The Masons Arms within a few steps away serving good selection of ales and good pub grub. Guests can enjoy several walks in the local area such as Dufton Pike, Murton Pike and the infamous High Cup Nick. Visiting the nearby lakes such as Ullswater is a short drive away. The area is steeped in history, allowing many choices of ruined castles, Stately Mansions and gorgeous gardens to visit during your stay.
