Positive: Although itโ€™s a little distance from Dresden Neustadt, the owner kindly offered a pick-up by car. Getting to the city center, including the Zwinger Palace, is easyโ€”about 15 minutes by tram. Thereโ€™s also a supermarket nearby, which makes it convenient for daily needs. The room is just as lovely as in the photos and very comfortable. Itโ€™s on the top (4th) floor, so it can get a bit warm on sunny days, but thereโ€™s a portable air conditioner that works well. Breakfast is included and served in a little dining room, which makes this place a great value. The owner is very helpful and can answer any questions you may have. I felt completely safe staying here, even as a solo female traveler.
Negative: There is no elevator, so carrying your luggage up to the top floor can be a bit of a challengeโ€”but the owner kindly helps with that. Also, please note that the meeting point with the owner is not at the main (front) entrance of Dresden-Neustadt station, but at the rear exit. Donโ€™t get confused!
