Smithville is bedroom community 20 minutes away from the KCI Airport (MCI), Worlds Of Fun, Oceans of Fun, and 30 minutes from downtown Kansas City, Arrowhead and Kauffman Stadiums.

Summary: Description of house was as described. Communication with host was quick and easy. Location of house was perfect and away from the hustle and bustle of KC. The only thing I would probably suggest would be for the cleaning fee paid of $150, I would expect house to in perfect condition. The refrigerator needed to be wiped out and I had to rewash some of the dishes before using them. But I am super picky about cleanliness. Also would suggest having more than one dish towel accessible and Kleenex in a few rooms for the guests and a dustpan to go with the broom so we could clean up a bit better. The host was fantastic, so I would consider staying here again if in the area visiting family.
