Well-furnished to provide comfortable accommodation, this cottage ideal for a small group of friends or family wanting to experience the sublime Yorkshire countryside. The cottage is positioned mid-way between the Yorkshire Dales and North York Moors National Parks, making it an ideal base to explore both. Upon entering the cottage you walk through a spacious hall into a contemporary open plan kitchen area with well-equipped kitchen units providing you with all the amenities you need to serve meals in the dining area, or on warmer evenings you can open the French doors and enjoy a meal on the patio. The sitting room lies beyond with a steam effect wood burning stove and a smart TV. There is also a W/C on the ground floor, just off the hall. The first floor of the cottage offers two double bedrooms. The main bedroom has a king-size bed with a modern en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom is a twin room (which can be combined into a king size bed upon request) which also has an en-suite shower room. To the front of the cottage is a private parking area and to the rear is a delightful patio area within a private garden, where you can sit back with a refreshing drink after a day exploring. The pretty village of Kirklington has a charming pub, The Black Horse, which is only 100m around the corner from the cottage and has excellent local ales and home cooked food.
