You are perfectly placed for mountain walks as footpaths start from literally across the road. There’s a wealth of activities in the area, from rock climbing, kayaking, quad bike tours and you can even take a llama for a walk! You are also right next to a fantastic golf course. The nearby town of Porthmadog is only 2 miles away and has a wealth of places to eat, lots of lovely independent shops and is also home to the famous Welsh Highland Railway. The Italian style village of Portmeirion is a short drive away, less than 15 minutes. Take a drive a little further just under 12 miles and you’ll discover the imposing Harlech Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Set less than 2 miles from the edge of the Snowdonia National Park why not take a walk up Wales’s highest mountain? There are various walking routes to choose within easy driving distance.
