Positive: The condo itself was clean, affordable, and located convenientlyโ€”overall a pleasant place to stay.
Negative: Small cockroaches in the unit, and there were pieces of broken glass on the floor when we arrivedโ€”both of which raised concerns about cleanliness and safety. Also, the experience was impacted by the tone and expectations around checkout. A very formal message was sent with detailed cleaning instructions, which felt more like housekeeping duties than typical guest responsibilities. After we left, we received another message implying we hadnโ€™t cleaned enough, which felt unnecessary and somewhat accusatory, especially after following the given instructions. While I understand the importance of maintaining the property, the tone of communication made the experience feel less like a welcoming staycation and more like we were being managed. Iโ€™d recommend clearer upfront communication and a more guest-friendly tone going forward.
