At the heart of the house is a large multi-fuel burner which makes a great focal point for spending time with your friends and family. The high vaulted ceilings, with exposed original beams, make a light and airy space from which to enjoy the stunning scenery of the Lake District National Park which can be enjoyed from the windows on all three sides. The enclosed garden at the rear is a great place for children to play as well as somewhere to sit out and relax in the afternoon sun and enjoy the spectacular views across the valley, to the imposing sight of Blencathra. There is storage available for up to four bikes and there are plenty of cycle routes both on and off road within easy reach. For keen walkers, the location is perfect, the property is located just 4 miles from Thirlmere reservoir which is at the base of Englandโs third highest mountain, Helvellyn, so you wonโt have to go far to find your next big adventure.
This beautiful cottage has two bedrooms and offers a great level of comfort and will certainly appeal to couples and families. Whilst comfortably sleeping four, this property also has a sofa bed in the living area which can convert into a third double bed (bedding available on request) and would therefore suit larger families of five and six.
