With stunning views over the Clwyds which can be glimpsed from the full length window that presides over the staircase, it is the perfect rural escape.
The area offers some great walking and cycling opportunities with direct access from the doorstep onto public footpaths and for those that prefer to travel by horseback, there is also a local bridleway. Other activities available locally include golf and fishing or for the more adventurous, Bala Lake which is within an hourโs drive offers various water sports including sailing, kayaking and white water rafting. There are plenty of tea rooms, antique shops and farmers markets in the area and the craft and antique centre at Afonwen (2 miles) is worth a visit.
