Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Our host Jacky was fantastic, he picked us up from the airport and provided clear directions on where to meet him. The van is very nice and when we entered the town he pointed out a good area to go for beef noodles (a must-eat on Kinmen!). It is very easy to walk to the town center, and a nearby 7-11 was prefect for snacks and has an ATM. The room was very basic but met our needs, and I was very grateful that one of the beds was soft/springs since I can't sleep on traditional hard beds. Jacky was very helpful and we appreciated that we had a large section of the refrigerator reserved for our room. He then took us to the ferry terminal the next morning. We really enjoyed our experience!

Negative: The air conditioner caused a very loud sound outside the window (water droplets falling on something), but thankfully the weather was cool enough that we didn't need to use it.
