Whitby Retreat is the rear apartment of two in this detached bungalow style property that faces Whitby and the moors with a private gravel garden with apple trees and four outdoor seats and a table. Situated in a quiet cul-de-sac there is ample parking on street for cars and easy access to Whitby which is only 3 miles down the road. Sleights is a lovely little village with its award-winning Redfordโs butchers and a Bothamโs famous confectionery shop and there is a village pub The Plough which serves really great food.
There is a very spacious lounge one double bedroom and one single bedroom with a large kitchen with a dining area and a double sofa bed in the lounge. The best retreats from a busy Whitby while still being very close and also on the edge of the North York Moors. To the rear, there are views over Whitby and the moors. By car, it is only 5 minutes drive to Whitby and when you had enough you can leave and come back to peace and tranquillity.
Access to the apartment is down a private side entrance with one step in. Guests must be aware there is a possibility of a small amount of noise from the above apartment but this has been minimised with extensive soundproofing. Also, the head height of the apartment is only 6-ft 8 inches. There is a key safe to the rear door. We are dog-friendly.
