Positive: Our hosts were so friendly and welcoming. They went out of their way to ensure our stay was enjoyable. Our flight arrived some hours before check in time, on a boiling hot day. They let us check in straight away which saved us from the heat and we were able to have a refreshing dip in the little pool to cool off! Our apartment was cool, comfortable and had everything we needed. It was great to be able to order fresh bread from the bakery and have it delivered each morning! The local Spar supermarket made getting provisions in, easy. Igls is a great centre for a holiday! It is such a beautiful quiet little alpine village with excellent transport links! Getting to the property was easy - just two buses from the airport. There were very frequent buses up to the Patscherkofel cable car or down to Innsbruck and on to the Nordkette cable car Tram 6 also runs from Igls and runs down through beautiful woodland with many interesting stops along the way, including Ambras Castle. Both this tram and all the buses were free with the Innsbruck Welcome card. There are so many beautiful mountain trails and woodland walks that start right from the apartments! We had very hot weather so it was great to swim in the hotel pool or in the nearby Lake Lanser See. Thank you for such an enjoyable holiday!
