Positive: Zavala is a perfect vacation place! The house is close to beaches, and the apartment has a wonderful view. The apartment was specious and perfectly clean. The owner and housekeeper are friendly, helpful and kind.

Negative: Although spacious and clean, the apartment would offer better comfort with more cozy balcony furniture, better pillows and mattress, sofa in the living room. I was missing a few details in the kitchen that became a standard in Croatian apartments - pinch of salt, sugar, garbage bags… Inexpensive but necessary add-ons (the only market in the village is uphill and it doesn’t have regular working hours, and it takes over 20min drive to the nearest supermarket).

Summary: Zavala cannot disappoint!
