Positive: We would definitely recommend Villa Althaea. The owner Eva was so welcoming. Great communication throughout and so thoughtful, to stock up with home cooked food and shopping, and provide great local knowledge for places to eat and trips out. The villa was perfect, so much space, the outside area was great with lots of places to sit and admire the view and even games of table tennis. Having a heated pool meant we were able to swim every day, even with our trip in April. Great location, we were able to explore Rethymno, with day trips to Kournas lake, Prevail beach, Bali, the Imbros gorge and nearby caves. There were also many lovely tavernas just 10 mins drive away.
Negative: No negatives for the villa.
