Unique opportunity for one or two families to live in the middle of Dalsland Hjärta right by the Dalsland Canal. This paradise can only be rented for a minimum of two weeks. The adventure begins when you park the cars, the house owner picks you up and takes you on an unforgettable journey through the canal and out to the car-free island. The boats are only included to take you to and from the island during your stay. However, should you use a boat for fishing or other pleasure boating, it costs SEK 200 per day and boat = SEK 1400 per week/per boat.
You arrive at a 100-year-old archipelago villa that has been lovingly renovated to modern standards in hygiene areas and kitchens. Rooms and furnishings have been preserved as far as possible from the beginning of the 20th century. Comfortable beds and well-sized family rooms for relaxation and recreation. The sauna building has a fresh shower and a fantastic view of the Svanfjord through panoramic windows. It is wood-burning for the most pleasant warmth. Firewood is bought in the port by the home owner.

From the house you are only a stone's throw from swimming and fishing in fantastic natural surroundings. Here you can enjoy an exciting swim and a tip is to go on a boat trip and discover Dalsland's canal.
In Köpmanebro there are also plenty of things to see and do. A tip is to visit Köpmannebro lock. The lock is the first in the Dalsland canal that runs from Värnern into lake Svanefjorden and on to Värmland. There are also nice cafes along the canal and by the lock.

Mellerud is also close by, which is a nice small town with a nice selection of restaurants, shops and shopping.
