Positive: It is a beautiful place tucked away from the more hectic Hakone, but an easy train ride back into Hakone.

Negative: There’s nothing in walking distance, but again the train is two minutes away and takes you into Hakone or towards Gora.

Summary: Beautiful, peaceful stay at a more traditional Japanese hotel with all the modern comforts.
