Positive: We liked absolutely everything about this hotel. The staff are fantastic, from Zing, the young woman who helped us on our first night (we arrived much later than expected), to the housekeeping staff and the cafe staff. Everyone is friendly, kind, and very professional. We love the room -- it is clean, large, well appointed and very pleasant, with a view from the window and a view from the back balcony. Breakfast is excellent: a hot item of the guest's choice, as well as a lovely buffet of salad, fruit, bread with jam and butter, and a selection of hot drinks. Portions are generous, and everything is freshly prepared. Housekeeping is outstanding: When we have the room cleaned, we come back to a completely pristine room that feels fresh and delightful after a day of exploring. I'm so comfortable doing yoga on the floor, because it's completely clean. Great to have the refrigerator for food we buy outside, and I love getting new water bottles every day (though it would be even nicer to have a complimentary water dispenser so we could refill bottles and waste less plastic). I have rarely stayed in such a well-run, clean, hospitable and friendly place, and the lovely garden is a bonus.
Negative: The only suggestion I have is to remove the styrofoam and plastic wrappings from the legs of the chair in the room. It looks a bit silly to leave the remnants of packing materials on the chair.
Summary: Excellent hotel! Well run, hospitable and in a delightful location.
