Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The caravan is immaculate and has good views of the sea. Access to the beach is only a few minutes walk, and Bempton Cliffs only a ten-minute drive away. The Haven site has a very large number of caravans and is very efficiently run. We had a very quick and welcoming check-in as the caravan owner had already passed on our car registration and other details to Security. We didn't use the swimming pool but had dinner in the site's restaurant and were impressed with the quality of the food and the friendliness of the waiters.

Negative: We didn't automatically receive advance details of how to check-in and find the caravan, but once contact was made with the owner communications were quick and helpful. It's perhaps worth mentioning that, although all bedding is provided, guests are expected to bring their own towels - we had not been aware of this, but they are available for purchase in the onsite mini-market.
