Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: The room was absolutely stunning, waking up to the view was like a dream! The bed was comfortable and facilities were clean. The restaurant was great, food was wonderful and the staff were very attentive.
Negative: The only downside is - and we didn’t know this upon booking so would’ve appreciated if we had been told - the hotel is far from Ella (30 minutes). Which is nice for peace but proved to be inconvenient as the road leading up to the hotel isn’t completed. Meaning cars are unable to go up all the way. The hotel does offer a tuktuk service but we struggled to get hold of them one evening and found ourselves walking 1.5km up an uneven, dark track. The hotel manager was apologetic when we arrived.
