Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: The location was great. Bourton-on-the-water gets very busy with tourists. Despite the prime location, there no through pedestrian traffic nor much of road traffic passing the area. It’s quiet and peaceful despite being a stones throw from the main car park.
Negative: Some of the plates and cutlery were not cleaned to our standard but a quick run in the dishwasher, which we do no matter where we stay, did the trick. We told the host and they said they’d adjust their cleaning rota. That’s what it’s all about. Nothing is ever perfect and it’s about how hosts react. Tim & Nat are superb.
Summary: Visited to celebrate my Mum’s 70th. The host was exceptional. They arranged flowers and a birthday card on arrival that
