ALTIDO is delighted to welcome you to Maison Tranquille, โthe tranquil house.โ Originally built in 1865, this newly renovated house is nestled amongst the vineyards in Louzac-Saint-Andrรฉ, near the world renowned commune of Cognac in southwestern France. Attractions nearby include the sandy beaches of Royan, the Charente River, Golf du Cognac and the many Cognac Houses in the region. The house itself is set across 2 floors and offers 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, an open-plan living area with a sofa bed, a fully-equipped kitchen and a dining area. Outdoor facilities include a private garden and a swimming pool. Sleeps up to 10 guests. Essentials, linen, towels, TV and WiFi are provided. Parking is available onsite.
House Rules:
We want you to have a fantastic stay, so encourage you to see the space as a home away from home - treating it as though it is yours! There are, of course, a few things we politely ask guests to note before their arrival and throughout their stay:
- Strictly no smoking, no parties, no pets
- No candles
- Dispose of rubbish appropriately
- Keep the property clean and tidy
- Whilst washing up and stripping the beds at check out would be appreciated, it is by no means expected
- Quiet hours are between 10:00 PM and 9:00 AM. Please keep the noise down and respect other neighbours in the building
- Please remember to close all windows and doors when leaving the space
- Careful attention to the keys is extremely important. Guests are responsible for any additional costs resulting from misplaced keys or locksmith call-outs.
- To ensure the safety of our current and future guests, we ask all guests to complete our online check-in form and to provide a valid form of identification.
- Ensure the heating is maintained at an appropriate temperature throughout the stay. If the heating is excessive, i.e. over ยฃ100 per month, you will be expected to cover this cost
*Once the booking is confirmed we will arrange a check-in time. If you arrive 2 hours after the agreed time you will be subject to a ยฃ20 late check-in fee.
**Check-in is between 3pm and 9pm. There will be an additional fee of ยฃ20 for check-ins between 9pm and 12am and ยฃ40 for check-ins past midnight.

***Check-out is fixed at 10am due to our housekeepers needing access after this time but if you would like to leave your packed luggage in the property before your next transit, we will do our best to accommodate this (subject to availability.) This is a really popular property so we often have guests checking in on the same day as you depart but we may be able to accommodate a late checkout. Please check with us so that we can confirm this with you in advance. A late checkout until 3pm is charged at a rate of ยฃ35. Anytime after that you will be required to purchase an extra nights stay.
