Summary: Overall the apartment served it’s purpose and is in a great location. Check in process was a little bit complicated, requiring us to visit a store up the road and ask for someone who was not the host to let us in. That being said, the host was very responsive over text and the other person was helpful. The sleeping arrangements are very uncomfortable with only a very thin and cheap mattress in the loft, and an extremely hard futon. We did not sleep well and felt like we were sleeping on the floor. The apartment has very poor ventilation and towels, blankets, and pillows all felt moist to the touch. This could be attributed to the weather as it was very rainy and humid during our stay. Cleanliness is another factor, it wasn’t that bad but there was long black hairs on the pillows and some of the blankets presumably from the owner or previous guests. Far from my favourite VRBO experience, i hate to be critical because the host was very nice but i would recommend they make some upgrades.
