Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Stone Villa Berat was definitely worth a visit. A beautiful place to stay with one of the best views of Mangalem. Parking is free in the car park next to the main road. From there, it’s a 10-minute walk uphill through the narrow, old alleys until you reach the accommodation. You really feel as though you’re in the Middle Ages, except that, of course, everything is much more beautiful! The rooms were neat and tidy and designed in a very original style. The two young men Bjorki and Dijart did an excellent job as hosts; they speak perfectly English and made sure we felt at home from the very first moment, prepared a free drink in the bar for every guest every evening and provided us with free water whenever we needed it. The lady from the kitchen prepared a delicious breakfast every morning on the terrace with a beautiful view and they asked us every evening what time we would like our breakfast. Even for our very early departure to the airport in the end, they made sure we had a good breakfast before we left at 6.30 am. Will always come back! Highly recommend this place!
