Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The location is excellent. The city center is within easy walking distance, but several bus lines stop right in front of the building, if you prefer not to walk. The apartment is spacious and quiet, with several shopping options nearby.

Negative: Only 1 hour before arriving I was informed that the full amount had to be paid in cash at check-in. This required me to withdraw money using my foreign credit card, which resulted in an additional 15% fee on the total amount. This was very inconvenient and could easily have been avoided with earlier communication. Secondly, and unfortunately the main reason I would not recommend this apartment or return, was the bed. It was extremely uncomfortable, to the point where we ended up sleeping on the living room sectional for 3 out of 5 nights. Both my husband and I got neck and hip pain, as well as significant loss of sleep due to how overused and poorly supported the bed and the mattress were. Upon checking under the mattress, I noticed that the bed frame was severely compromised and supported only by makeshift wooden planks. When booking accommodation, a proper bed for rest is the most important thing!! While minor issues such as unwashed dishes (which we also encountered) can be overlooked, the inability to get a decent night’s sleep is not acceptable.
