Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: Location was OK, but far from our requirements. Inside the apartment the bed was comfortable, and the shower unit was excellent. The person (Daniel) dealing with our arrival/departure was courteous and helpful, Fortunately he was available to refund us our deposit in the evening prior to our early departure the following morning.
Negative: There is no formal Reception at this residence. The entire key collection experience was a shambles; had to keep on communicating via Whatsapp with the person assigned to hand over the keys. This "system" of arrival and key collection is not up to hotel standards/expectations, even for independent suite rentals. Only a single set of keys (general common area access & suite access) was provided, making it difficult for my wife and I to coordinate access with our separate/different schedules, etc. The entire tower block appears to be rented out to independent rental operators. It is full of tourists coming and going, making the lifts crowded and slow. The entry to our tower block was flanked by garage vehicle entry on one side and garbage/refuse collection on the other. The person handing over the keys initially demanded cash only (no credit card accepted); eventually we paid via direct transfer via QR code. The kitchen was not very well equipped, i.e. no glasses (only mugs), limited cooking utensils, no microwave oven. There were no kitchen towels, and we had to purchase paper towels and toilet paper. Bathroom was slightly moldy with unpleasant odor coming from the drains. The safe in the bedroom was not operational, probably due to expired battery. There was no cleaning or room service during our stay, despite the 18% property "service" charge.
Summary: Quite disappointing.
