Positive: The location of the Seagulls Hotel is great. The cleanliness around the pool, garden, room and hotel was very good.
Negative: The pool, however, was not so clean. There was a dirty, greasy ring all around the pool, especially under the bridge across the pool. I reported this to reception after I was asked if everything was alright. I don't generally complain, but when asked, I politely give an honest answer. This was my fourth visit and, unfortunately, I was very disappointed. There was only one reception staff member, a lovely, slightly older lady, who was able to speak English well enough to understand me. The other two men and the younger lady were abrupt, rude and made me feel like they couldn't be bothered to listen to me. They grumbled in their own language as I was walking away on the rare occasions I went to reception. My friends and I, two other couples, are now very reluctant to return to The Seagull, unless things are shown to improve.
Summary: Not bad, but definitely not what I have experienced on the last three occasions I have stayed
