Summary: I used to stay regularly some 4 years ago but now it’s gone downhill. Parking is charged for, breakfast is extra, bathroom amenities are cheap, no dressing gowns in rooms, quality of bar food has gone down and the atmosphere is missing. We were in 202 and got woken in the night by door slamming (several times) and noise of plant/machinery when it was open, the ground floor public/bar gents did not have a functioning locking mechanism. Comfortable bed, good staff but really not top quality anymore which for that price in Ipswich, it should be.
