Positive: The hotel location was absolutely beautiful and we got to wake up to an amazing view of the mountains each morning. It’s around a 25 minute walk into Ella town however they offer a tuktuk wherever you like at any given time which we found so helpful and a lot cheaper than the local tuktuks. They also arranged transport to pick us up from Sigiriya and our onward travel to Yala which was really convenient! Room was also super clean and spacious. Breakfast was amazing each morning, we got provided a range of fruit, omlette, smoothies, toast and different Sri Lanka dishes which were so tasty. The family were so lovely and made us feel so welcome - they really couldn’t do enough for us and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
