Positive: The people who work there, particularly Michael (the proprietor) are splendid, with classic Irish hospitality and humor. The bed is very comfortable, the shower excellent and you can request an interior room that’s very quiet and has quite adequate privacy. Breakfast is good, consisting of sliced cheese, a delicious fruit cake, five kinds of cereal (including weetabix and muesli), and a special yogurt made down the way in Wexford that comes with some unusual and quite tasty flavors. Although it’s a stroll to the center of town, there’s a nice street in back of the hotel that makes the walk much nicer. And there’s a beautiful park just 2 minutes away
