Positive: I spent some truly special days in Portugal that will remain in my memory for a long time, and the Recanto do Avô apartment was both a perfect starting point and a welcoming refuge at the end of each day. The value for money is excellent: the apartment is fully equipped with everything needed for daily life and proved to be very functional. Added to this is the kindness and availability of Ruben, the host, whom I thank explicitly for accommodating a special request outside the contract, which made the stay even more pleasant. The spaces are ample and comfortable, tastefully furnished, and some parts of the apartment have been recently renovated. The location, in a condominium context in Monte Chorro, is strategic: well connected to Albufeira and the rest of the Algarve region.

Negative: The only minor drawback, which affected the stay only marginally, was the cleaning: overall good, but not optimal in some harder-to-reach areas (for example, around the sofa). In addition, the bathroom could benefit from an update, particularly the installation of a fixed shower head to avoid the need to hold it at all times. I would also recommend that the cleaning service pay a little more attention to detail.
